Thomas Eichhorst
Richard Sammel interpreta a Thomas Eichhorst, el Segundo del Amo. Ahora, con una sola mano (Después de que Eph consiguiera dejarle Manco en la Temporada 3), Eichhorst es más astuto y peligroso que nunca mientras realiza diligentemente las fases finales del plan que tiene El Amo para la humanidad. Además, sus vistas permanecen fijadas en la Caza del Viejo Abraham Setrakian.
Thomas Eichhorst es un personaje principal y un ex oficial Nazi de las SS, después de ser Convertido por El Amo en el campo de exterminio de Treblinka, en los Años 40 en Alemania.
Hasta los Años 30 era un vendedor de una empresa de Radios, pero Eichhorst fue ridiculizado y menospreciado por su jefe y sus compañeros de trabajo.
Antes del Ascenso del Partido Nazi, fue cautivado por un discurso pronunciado por un miembro del Partido, al que acabó uniéndose, teniendo que renunciar a la Persona a quien quería, pues era Judía. Pocas veces se le ha visto Sufrir tanto como entonces, cuando tuvo que ver cómo la Persona a la que quería era mostrada (Ya Cadáver) en la Vía Pública.
Poco después de la caída de Treblinka en los Años 40, Eichhorst se convirtió en un Strigoi al que Convirtió Personalmente El Amo, quien decidió que la experiencia del Alemán en el encarcelamiento y el exterminio de grandes grupos de seres humanos le sería útil para el Plan que tenía para la Humanidad.
En 1971, Abraham Setrakian descubrió Pistas que situaban a Eichhorst en Albania, por lo que viajó allí para darle Caza, pero era una trampa.
Abraham cayó encerrado dentro de un Pozo durante Días hasta que consiguió escapar, pero mientras, Eichhorst atacó y Convirtió a su esposa, Miriam Setrakian, a la que Abraham se vio obligado a matar a un poco más tarde, conservando hasta 2014 su Cerebro en un Tarro de Formol.
Con la llegada del Amo a la Ciudad de Nueva York, Eichhorst está allí para reunirse con Eldritch Palmer y comprobar el estado de sus planes para la conquista del mundo por parte del Amo.
Por este tiempo, Eichhorst era un Strigoi completamente maduro, pero mediante el uso de un amplio maquillaje, prótesis y una peluca, apareció como un ser humano con el fin de llevar a cabo la voluntad del Amo en lugares públicos (Setrakian, al verlo por primera vez en décadas , incluso especuló que la aparición de Eichhorst podría haber sido porque se ha alterado quirúrgicamente para este propósito).
Aparece por primera vez ante ‘Gus’ Elizalde, a quien envía al CDC conduciendo una furgoneta que contenía el ataúd del Amo desde el aeropuerto internacional John F. Kennedy al otro lado del río Hudson. Después de que el ataúd llegara a su destino, un garaje subterráneo, Eichhorst muestra a Eldritch Palmer a su nuevo Amo.
Después de que Abraham Setrakian fuese detenido, Eichhorst lo visita en la cárcel, burlándose de él sobre el éxito inevitable del plan del Amo que acababa de comenzar, sobre la muerte de la esposa de Abraham, y el sentimentalismo divertido de Abraham con el corazón de su esposa, el cual era conservado en su casa de empeño.
Eichhorst es el intermediario entre Palmer y El Amo. El Amo aparece en la sede de Palmer en el que le da un poco de líquido Strigoi libre de Gusano, su Fluido Blanco Maligno, lo que hace Palmer se cure casi instantáneamente de su postrado en la cama, librándole de su cercanía a la Muerte. Eso sí, esto no sería permanente, lo que lo ata al Fluido del Amo, debe hacerle caso y mediar con El Alemán si quiere seguir con Buena Vida.
Eichhorst se enfrenta de nuevo con Palmer después de que El Amo se retirara siendo letalmente herido en la batalla contra Setrakian y totalmente envuelto en los rayos del sol. Palmer exige ver al Amo al temer por la posible muerte del mismo.
Eichhorst niega el encuentro. Tampoco le gustó nada saber que Palmer ocultaba una Trampa con Rayos Ultra-Violeta para acabar con El Amo, con Palmer, y cualquier Strigoi cuando fuera necesario.
Eichhorst se enfadó más que nunca y se sintió decepcionado por completo cuando El Amo, con su Cuerpo Quemado y ya Inservible, prefirió a Bolivar en lugar de a él mismo. Eso sí, elegirle a él supone su Muerte Definitiva, al Fusionarse con El Amo.
Una de sus Muestras en Público más Destacadas fue en la casa de subastas Sotheby, donde apareció Eichhorst para hacer una oferta para adquirir el preciado Occido Lumen.
En un primer momento, su éxito parecía inevitable, pero se vio obstaculizado a medio camino a través de la subasta cuando Palmer le cortó la línea de crédito. Setrakian, financiado por los Ancianos de América, fue capaz de ganar el libro y escapar de la casa de subastas con él. Eichhorst más tarde acompañó al Amo para hacer frente a Palmer.

Thomas Eichhorst is a main character and a former Nazi SS officer, once commandant of the Treblinka extermination camp, now a Vampire who serves as the right hand of the Master.
Originally a salesman for a company, Eichhorst was ridiculed and belittled by his boss and co-workers. Before the rise of the Nazi Party, he was captivated by a speech made by a party member.
Shortly after the fall of Treblinka, Eichhorst was turned into a vampire by the Master, who decided that the German’s expertise in the imprisonment and extermination of large groups of humans would be useful.
In 1971, Abraham Setrakian discovered clues that Eichhorst was feeding in northern Albania, so he journeyed there to hunt him down, but it was a trap. Abraham was detained in a cell for several days, while Eichhorst attacked and turned his wife, Miriam Setrakian, who Abraham was forced to kill a short time later.
Shortly after the Master’s arrival in New York City, Eichhorst also arrived in the country to meet with Eldritch Palmer to check on the status of their plans for the conquest of the world by the Master’s strain.
By this time, Eichhorst was a fully mature vampire, but through the use of extensive makeup, prosthetics, and a wig, appeared as human in order to carry out the Master’s will in public settings (Setrakian, seeing him for the first time in decades, even speculated that Eichhorst’s appearance might have been surgically altered for this purpose).
One of these settings was Sotheby’s auction house, where Eichhorst appeared to bid for the Occido Lumen. At first, his success seemed inevitable, but he was stymied midway through the auction when Palmer cut off his line of credit. Setrakian, financed by the three American Ancients, was able to win the book and escape the auction house with it. Eichhorst later accompanied the Master to confront Palmer, and watched dispassionately as the Master killed and dismembered him.
Setrakian confronted Eichhorst in the control room of Palmer’s nuclear power plant in Long Island, where the vampire was triggering a catastrophic overload. Eichhorst taunted Setrakian with his wife, Miriam’s last words, and also with the fact that the Master’s plan for the human race was a variant of the Third Reich’s plan for the Jewish people during the Holocaust: mass internment and blood harvesting.
Though Eichhorst was stronger and faster than the elderly Setrakian, the latter «put everything he had» into a throw of his sword, which impaled Eichhorst through the chest, disabling him long enough for Setrakian to pull out the sword and decapitate him.
After Eichhorst’s death, the Master’s need for an «expert» in imprisoning and exploiting large groups of humans was fulfilled, more or less, by Dr. Everett Barnes, the former head of the Centers for Disease Control.
In the television series, Eichhorst appears much earlier, and plays a much more active role in the Master’s plot.
He first appears as the anonymous «waxy boy» who tasks Augustin ‘Gus’ Elizalde with driving a CDC van containing the Master’s coffin out of John F. Kennedy International Airport to the other side of the Hudson river. After the coffin has arrived at its destination, an underground garage, Eichhorst introduces Eldritch Palmer to his new master.
After Abraham Setrakian has been arrested, Eichhorst visits him in jail, taunting him about the inevitable success of the Master’s plan, about the death of Abraham’s wife, and Abraham’s amusing sentimentality in keeping his wife’s infected heart preserved in his pawnshop. Setrakian retorts that he will avenge his wife soon, and taunts Eichhorst that his old friend, Dr. Werner Dremerhaven, has already fallen beneath Setrakian’s sword.
Eichhorst is the middle man between Palmer and the master. He is keeping Palmer satisfied and appeases him as Palmer grows more and more impantient. The Master appears in Palmer’s headquarters where he feeds him some worm free strigoi liquid that renders Palmer healed from his nearly bed-ridden to close to death state to being a fully well human. Palmer is though still denied immortality which he craves.
Eichhorst is confronted again by Palmer after the Master retreated being lethally wounded in battle and fully engulfed in the sun’s rays. Palmer demands to see the master fearing for the master’s possible death. Eichhorst denies the encounter and will not relay anything from Palmer threatening that Palmer does not act cleverly by defying him. He is also less pleased when he learned how Palmer got rid of the Ancient’s ambush unit by UV lights having not known that these devices were present and therefore a possible threat to him, the Master and any vampire ally.
