Sanjay Desai
Sanjay Desai era un personaje de apoyo y antagonista, y fue el socio cercano de El Alemán, de hecho, en el episodio 3×05, Thomas dijo que es «Un joven completamente impresionante».
Él sirve como el antagonista cuaternario de la temporada 3 y antagonista terciario en la temporada 4.
No se sabe nada acerca de la vida de Sanjay antes del brote, excepto que vivió en algún lugar de Nueva York y, aparentemente, trabajó como asociado para otro negocio.
Temporada 3
En el episodio 3×05, Sanjay entra en la Oficina de Palmer con Thomas Eichhorst. Una vez que se sientan, Palmer se desmaya. Thomas Eichhorst llama a la Enfermera para que lo ayude. La Enfermera corre a Revisar a Palmer y le pide ayuda para recogerlo.
Sanjay ayudó a ello, y lo acostaron en el sofá. Sanjay se presenta como su nuevo socio y le habla sobre el cargamento especial de Egipto. Thomas Eichhorst le dice a Palmer que les avise cuando la carga llegue a Nueva York. Sanjay le dijo que asegurara los Muelles.
Temporada 4
Desai está sufriendo desde su accidente casi letal en el final de la temporada 3, cuando Eichhorst lo dejó en el coche para morirse o ayudarse a sí mismo. Como consecuencia, requiere el uso de un bastón y camina con cojera.
Desai está trabajando como administrador de la Asociación que parece gobernar en todo el mundo, o por lo menos en todos los Estados Unidos. Él supervisa una instalación de cría de Strigoi que trata de aumentar selectivamente el número de bebés con el tipo de sangre B +, ya que esta sangre es el sabor favorito y más nutritivo para Strigoi.
Propone una colaboración a Dutch Velders que tiene un nombre falso, Miranda, posiblemente para protegerse de las repercusiones por su papel en el Apocalipsis.
Desai comienza con un frente amistoso que cae cuando Dutch muestra escepticismo sobre la bonita situación que Desai todavía intenta mantener con Imágenes sobre la Asociación que Preside.
Cuando Dutch consigue escapar de La Asociación, planean el Secuestro de Sanjay. Tras conseguir Secuestrarle, este les cuenta dónde se esconde El Amo y, cuando este llega al Escondite del Grupo, Zack le Delata. Al enterarse El Amo de que le ha Traicionado, le Golpea contra la Pared, acabando así con su Vida en el Episodio 3×09 ‘El Traidor’.
Sanjay Desai is a supporting character, and antagonist, and was Eichhorst’s close associate, In fact in the third season episode entitled «Madness», Eichorst said he is «A very impressive young man». He serves as the quaternary antagonist of Season 3, and (possibly) a tertiary antagonist in Season 4.
Pre-Outbreak, Nothing is known about Sanjay’s life before the outbreak, except that he lived somewhere in New York and assumingly worked as an associate for another business.
Season 3
In Episode 3×05, Sanjay comes into Palmer’s office with Thomas Eichhorst. Once they sit down, Palmer faints. Thomas Eichhorst calls in the nurse to help him. The nurse runs in to check on Palmer, the nurse picks up Palmer and asking for help to pick him up. Sanjay helped as the both of them lay him down on the couch. Sanjay introduces himself as his new associate and tells him about the special cargo from Egypt. Thomas Eichhorst tells Palmer to alert them when the cargo comes in to New York. Sanjay told him to make sure it docks.
Season 4
Desai is suffering from his almost lethal crash in the season 3 finale when he was left by Eichhorst in the car to either die or help himself. As a consequence he requires the use of a cane and walks with a limp.
Desai is working as an administrator for the Partnership that seems to govern worldwide or at least all over the United States. He oversees a breeding facility that tries to selectively increase the number of babies with B+ blood type since this blood is either the favourite flavor or most nutritious for strigoi. He proposes a colaboration to Dutch Velders who is unsing a false name; Miranda, possibly to protect herself from repercussions for her role in the appocalypse. Desai starts out with a friendly front which he drops when Dutch shows defiance and skepticism of the situation’s pretty picture Desai still tries to uphold.
As seen in the season 4 promo Sanjay seems to be alive and well after the nuclear blast. He is later seen in a hospital (assuming The Partnership’s hospital) with Dutch Velders and a couple of doctors trying to deliver a baby from a pregnant woman. At the end of the promo Dutch Velders is seen trying to slit his throat.
When Dutch escapes from the Association, they plan Sanjay’s Kidnapping. After kidnapping him, he tells them where The Master is hiding and, when he arrives at the Group’s hideout, Zach rat him out. When the Master learns that he has betrayed him, he strikes him against the wall, thus ending his life in Episode 3×09′ The Traitor’.
